The application for the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center's Dairy Farm Improvement & Modernization Grant opens on January 2.
This program supports dairy farmers in improving operations for long-term farm viability. Projects should focus on updating outdated systems or trying new and innovative solutions, with the goal of enhancing farm viability, reducing climate impacts, improving milk quality or value, improving worker conditions, and strengthening the farm’s ability to respond to challenges.
Awards will range from $15,000 to $100,000, requiring a 25% in-kind or cash match. The Request for Applications is available now on the NE-DBIC website.
