Save the date for the next Food Industry Virtual Office Hours! This session will discuss how to find a consultant with the expertise you need. Food safety requirements across commodities/food items are not the same, so food safety consultants need to have expertise in areas relevant to your needs. Dr. Betsy Bihn is leading a team developing a certificate program for fresh produce consultants, so that farm and packinghouse operators can be confident that the consultants they hire have the necessary knowledge to provide accurate and useful guidance. Following the presentation, the speaker will join an expert panel to address questions during a moderated Q&A.
Food Industry Virtual Office Hours are hosted in collaboration with the New York Integrated Food Safety Center of Excellence and the IFS@CU.
Intended audience: Open to anyone in the food industry from farm to fork.
Cost: Free
Registration is required.
