    Final Round - Tourism Marketing Recovery Program

    The Maine Office of Tourism announces a final round for applications for the Tourism Marketing Recovery Program funded through the US Economic Development Administration (EDA) American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Travel, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation State Grant.

     

    Please join us for a webinar on Wednesday, June 26, at 11am for an overview of the program guidelines, eligibility requirements, application process and Q&A session with participants.

    This webinar will be recorded and posted on the MOT Industry website www.MOTPartners.com. 

     

    This grant program provides funding to support the economic resilience & recovery of the travel and tourism industry in Maine from negative impacts of the pandemic through tourism marketing programs. 

     

    Eligible applicants are:

    ·     Maine municipalities;

    ·     Tribal governments;

    ·     Other local government agencies engaged in economic development activities or a consortium of political subdivisions;

    ·     Non-profit organizations or associations within the travel and tourism industry, acting in cooperation with officials of a political subdivision of the State.

     

    Sub-awards will be granted for a minimum amount of $50,000 and a maximum amount of $200,000. All applications must be submitted through the program portal by 2pm on July 25th, 2024
