    Hi all,

Happy Monday!  Here's the run-down on new Grant & Contract opportunities from the Northeast Dairy Business Innovation Center.

Dairy Farm Cohort Technical Assistance Contract

TA providers can apply for up to $150,000 to lead cohort-based technical assistance for dairy farmers in one or more of the areas: increased grazing quality or quantity, home-grown forage enhancement, alternative herd management, innovative staffing and business management, and marketing and education of dairy production practices.

The RFP is available on our website.  Deadline is May 26 at 4:30 pm ET.

Dairy Marketing & Branding Services Grant

Dairy processors and producer associations can apply for $10,000 - $50,000 to access professional marketing and branding services to elevate value-added dairy businesses.

The RFA is available now on our website, and the application period is April 27, 2023 - June 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM ET.

    Existing Dairy Processor Expansion Grant

$12 million in total funds to purchase specialized equipment that will help processors expand the use of regionally produce milk.  Three application tiers accommodate processors of all sizes.

Tier 1 & Tier 2 processors are required to submit a pre-application, which is open now through May 11.

Tier 3 processors are invited to submit a single application.
