Description
I make small batches of artisan cheese using local Jersey cows milk. I specialize in smoked aged and fresh cheeses - our specialty, UpNorth Applewood Smoked Ricotta. I also make a variety of herbed Ricottas and as well as a few styles of aged cheeses. We collaborate with other producers on smoked products like smoked butter, baby goudas, etc. My products are available at our retail location in downtown Skowhegan, online, cheese shops, distributors like Native Maine and I also sell to a few restaurants and bakeries. I have been making cheese for about 11 years now, and also raise and sell grass fed beef which is also sold in my downtown location along with other locally produced foods and wares.
