Hybrid Course: Online Lectures and
Instructor-led, virtual session March 13, 2025
The workshop begins with online lectures covering key areas related to unit operations, filler systems, preventive maintenance, spoilage organisms, and cleaning and sanitizing. The course will include a live Zoom session covering appropriate testing methods for improving long-term milk quality, raw milk and processing factors influencing finished product quality, pathogen environmental monitoring, and sensory evaluation. Milk samples for sensory evaluation will be shipped to each participant's location.
The course is ideally suited for:
Industry experts and Cornell Dairy Foods Extension instruct the course.
Course tuition is $725 for NYS registrants and $880 for out-of-state registrants.
