Description
In 2011 Aaron Grim and Briis Wile began transforming raw land on a hilltop in Litchfield into their dream homestead and farm. Today it is a vibrant, productive place full of gardens, orchards, greenhouses, and a menagerie of animals providing most of the food needs for their now family of four. With a strong commitment to healthy food and farming practices, the farm has been Certified-Organic my MOFGA since the beginning. They have been steadily growing their goat herd and dairy business, and today milk about two dozen healthy, opinionated goats. Their primary product is chevre and variations of it (classic, herbed, seedy, and spicy). They also produce aged cheeses (made with cow/goat milk blends), feta, yogurt, and raw milk, which they sell at a variety of farm stands, specialty shops, and natural food stores throughout the state.
