Good Morning, Everyone! This is reminder that the first of 3 sessions with Rick Kersbergen will be held via Zoom tomorrow 5/7/24 noon-1:30. This session will focus on your plans for soils assessment, maintenance, and improvement. Rick Kersbergen is an UMaine Extension Professor Emeritus. He has worked with dairy producers on forage production and animal nutrition for 35 years. Rick has been involved with the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship program along with producer groups such as the Maine Grass Farmers Network, the Northeast Pasture Consortium, and the Maine Organic Milk Producers. Rick currently works as a consultant to Maine DACF on PFAS issues related to dairy and livestock, as well as research on enteric methane reduction with Bigelow labs.
